| | a displacement Kraft batch digester cooking system

    for wood and bamboo
    furnish.  The Displacement
    Digester System
(DDS, patent pending) provides for high energy savings, high chemical
savings and high pulp strength. This systems displaces and reuses the spent
cooking liquor which will impart chemical benefits to the pulp and allows
for low kappa cooking while maintaining high pulp strength.  One of the
displacement operations in the digester is equivalent to one washing stage
(DR ~ 0.85) so the washing efficiency of the pulp mill will increase also |
    | | a displacement alpha cellulose Kraft batch digester cooking system

    for wood and bamboo
    furnish.  The Displacement
    Digester System
Alpha (DDS Alpha, patent pending) provides for
high energy savings, high chemical savings and high pulp strength. This
version of the DDS system can produce both dissolving alpha cellulose as
well as standard kraft cellulose.  An option version allows for the
reuse of the hydrosylate to increase the hemicellulose removal in an acidic
environment for furnishes that do not lend themselves to efficient
    auto-hydrolysis |
    | | a conventional Kraft batch digester cooking system
with decreased steam consumption for wood and bamboo.  This
    Digester Steam
    Saver (DSS, patent
pending) system is for wood and bamboo but does not offer the chemical
benefits of a displacement system because the spent cooking liquor is not
reused in the digester plant |
    | | a black liquor treatment system to
increase the washing efficiency in the brown stock area by mitigating
interference caused by the high molecular weight lignin compounds dissolved
    in the wash filtrate.  The
Clean Wash Process (CWP, patented) is
especially useful for O2 delignification installations |
